Scale-up support to Established Incubation centres:
SPARSH is the Social Innovation programme for Products: Affordable & Relevant to Societal Health. The programme is headed by BIRAC under the support of Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, and Government of India. The scheme aims to provide necessary support to the social innovators in the biotech area who can contribute to the healthcare and life-science sector of India. The entrepreneurs are assisted with necessary financial aids and technical supports for new ventures which have potential to bring new cost effective health care technologies in India.
Start-up India scheme is headed by Small Industries Development Bank of India(SIDBI) and formed to support the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Women entrepreneurs of India by helping them in setting up new enterprises, obtaining loans and supports needed from time to time for establishing the business. The scheme is determined to create an ecosystem which facilitates and continues to provide a supportive environment for businesses. The scheme endeavours to provide bank loans between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 1 crore to at least one Scheduled Caste(SC) or Scheduled Tribe(ST) borrower and at least one woman borrower per bank branch for setting up a new business venture.
